Harimohan Ghose College was established in 1963 to bring to the under-privileged sections of the population of Garden Reach-Metiabruz the fruits of higher education. The motto of Haimohan Ghose College on its 50th year of existence has been lived upto or not is best left to the judgment of history. But to us, whose life is focused on the existence of this college, the past of the college definitely serves to remind us of that famous quote.? Those who do not read history are condemned to repeat it?. So we take this occasion to present a brief history of Harimohan Ghose College.
