GOJAN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS AND TECHNOLOGY has been functioning from the academic year 2005 - 2006, offering courses in Engineering Degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical and Hotel Management. The founding father of the Gojan School of Business and Technology, as true champion in the cause of professional(Higher) education, have ambitious plans to conduct various courses at the U.G. and P.G. levels in the same campus itself - all under one roof. Towards this direction two more branches of Engineering Degree courses Aeronautical and Information Technology and Master of Business Administration(Affiliated to Anna University, Chennai) courses have been started from the academic year 2007 - 2008 with the approval of AICTE and affiliation to Anna University, Chennai and Accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council(NAAC). Engineering College is run by GOJAN EDUCATIONAL TRUST Chennai, with great ideal and vision to achieve far reaching results in the service of Education. To realize this singular objective, the college provides innovative educational and training modules to eligible men and women students, equiping them with academic excellence and professional competency in their chosen fields of Engineering Technology and Business Administration. Engineering College is located near 80 feet road Edapalayam(Alamathi), Redhils, Chennai - 600052. Access to the college is easy and comfortable with well - connected roads and public transport facilities. Further, the college buses facilitate easy conveyance to the students and staff coming from various parts of Chennai and near by rural areas. Many a dextrously designed state of the art palatial college buildings that sprawl over the 80 acres area of the college, full - fledged laboratories, workshops, resource centre(Library), Hostel for men and women, Indoor game facilities and play grounds satisfying every present day requirement and the illustrious faculty, supporting staff and skilled assistants testify themselves to the many faceted dynamic infrastructure of Gojan School of Business and Technology. The unique serene, tranquil atmosphere prevails in the college campus, a rarity nowadays, offer an ideal background for the persuit of higher level quality education. Mother Nature herself is in line with the management's well articulated task of modulating the young scholars into value based Engineering and Business Managers by inculcating on them academic and professional competency, soft skills and ethical values based on our age long moral culture. Under the able guidance and patronage of Dr. G. Natarajan, Chairman, Gojan Educational Trust, the college has developed excellent facilities and resources such as spacious classrooms, seminar halls, well-equipped laboratories, workshops, well-stocked libraries, dedicated highspeed broadband Internet connectivity and well-qualified faculty. The management has invested more money for the creation of state of the art infrastructural facilities. Currently the college offers 7 Under-Graduate (B.E.,), 7 Post-Graduate (M.E. & M.B.A.,) as affiliated to the Anna University, Chennai. The college has the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The college has 8 academic departments each headed by a competent and experienced professor. Altogether the college has over 158 well-qualified teaching staff and about 75 supporting technical staff. The combined student intake during current year is 420 and the total number of students on roll is 1487. The value of the education and training imparted by the college is highlighted by interest shown by leading companies for on-campus recruitment. In the current academic year all the eligible were students have been placed in through our Training & Placement Division. Our alumni have done us proud by proving their worth wherever they have happened to be.
