Shri Andal Alagar College of Engineering

In the year 2001 Thiru Puratchi Kalaignar Vijaykant founded Shri Andal Alagar college of Engineering (SAACE) in memory of his parents at Mamandur near Chengalpet. SAACE is situated in sylvan surroundings on a spacious 75-acre campus, 60 kilometer south of Chennai on National Highway - 45. Shri Andal Alagar College of Engineering was started with the objective of bringing quality technical education within the reach of all sections of the society. Within a decade, Shri Andal Alagar College of Engineering has established for itself a reputation of academic excellence combined with strict moral and ethical code of conduct. This attracts to its folds students from far and wide including the other southern states. Excellent Infrastructure, qualified and dedicated faculty members, skilled technical assistants are the glittering features of SAACE. Separate Lecture block housing the class rooms and Laboratory block provides an excellent atmosphere for learning. All classrooms and labs are surrounded by greeneries, and well maintained gardens providing a tranquil atmosphere .The basic science laboratories and workshops are located in separate buildings. Exclusive playfields are also being developed with a well equipped indoor gymnasium for the physical well being of the students. Separate hostel for Boys and Girls have been built to international standards. The college maintains separate mess for boys and girls which provide hygienic and nutritious food. The college has excellent transport facility to cover all locations in and around Chennai.
