The Academy of Management & Information Technology (AMIT), recognized by the Government of Orissa, Department of Higher Education and affiliated to the Utkal University, is the premier institute, imparting education in the sphere of Biotechnology, Journalism and Mass Communication, Management and Information Technology. It is a unit of "Odisha Research and Development Centre (ORDC)", trust which is managed by a Council of Management, consisting of eminent Scientists and qualified professionals from leading Industries, Research Scholars from various laboratories and research centres, management and I.T. professionals, Journalists, Academicians, Administrators and leading public personalities. The major objective of AMIT is to provide world-class education.
