Government College

This college is situated in Tauru Tehsil of Mewat district. Conceptualized and constructed by late Sh. Hardwari Lal Goyal Ji, who was an eminent and generous social worker with profound love for education, this institution was handed over to the Govt. of Haryana on 14th July, 1989. The college is situated at a distance of three kilometers from Tauru on Bawla road in an area of approx. 13 acres of land. The name of this college is Hardwari Lal Goyal Govt. College Tauru(Mewat). This college has the distinction of being in the list of 25 Center of Excellance colleges of Haryana. Degrees are being offered in two streams B. A ( Pass course) (300 Seats) and B.com (Pass course) (80 Seats). There are total 617 students enrolled here in session 2012-13 out of which 213Girls and 404 boys.
