Raj Rajeshwari College of Education

Raj Rajeshwari College of Education is situated at a distance of 1 km from from Bhota Bus stand, Hamirpur(H.P.) in Village Chorab(Mansui), P.O. Bhota, Tehsil Barsar, Distt. Hamirpur(H.P.)-176041. It is being run by the Raj Rajeshwari Education Society in own building of Raj Rajeshwari College, it came into existence by the efforts of Raj Rajeshwari Education Society and Management Committee. College is recognized by NRC, NCTE, Jaipur vide letter no-F-NRC/NCTE/F-7/HP-175, August 12, 2006 and affiliated to H.P. University, Shimla vide letter no-1-294/2006-hpu(Acad.) and latest affiliation no-1-183/98-(Acad)Part-X dated 26 December, 2012.(2012-13) . Academically the college excel both in human resources and material resources. NET qualified staff is spear ?heading the educational front in the college which is adequately backed up by a well stocked spacious library enriched with a large number of books(both on education and general subjects), latest magazines, journals, encyclopedia, reference books besides a number of news papers. The library is managed by a well qualified(M.Lib.) and experienced librarian. The college is proud of its computer lab which has sufficient number of computers and allied equipment. Computer training with basic language is provided to all students by a computer teacher. Practical teaching on computer is given to each student. Computer trainers are qualified, computer experts with vast experience of the concerned area. The physical education department is headed by a very competent and qualified instructor. The college has spacious building with eight laboratories such as Educational Technology Lab with LCD, OHP, Slide Projector, Projector, and Computer etc., Language lab to improve the pronunciation skills and remove grammatically mistakes, Science lab with various scientifically equipments, Social Science lab with various magazines, charts, models, globes etc., Psychology lab with psychological tests, Work Experience lab with various instruments and equipments. The college has spacious play ground for volley ball, cricket, badminton, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho etc.
