Smt BK Shah Medical Institute and Research Centre was established in the year of 2003. The college is situated in the rural area of Vadodara and it is a constituent branch of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth University. It is a part of private state university under the section 3 of UGC, Unitary affiliating type. The college was granted permission by Medical Council of India and 61 of India on 30th September, 2003 with the intake capacity of 150 Medical Students. The mission of the college is to improve Medical Education of Global Standards in Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels and the vision is to become a premier institute of Vadodara. Some of the Workshop and Training Programs has been organized by the college like Systematic Review and Mataanalysis, Research Methods and Statistical Analysis with hands on practices on SPSS.
