ARB Garud Arts, Commerce and Science College

Welcome to Appasaheb Raghunathrao Bhaurao Garud Arts, Commerce & Science College, Shendurni (Popularly known as Garud College); An initiative of The Shendurni Secondary Education Co-operative Society. The College is affiliated to North Maharashtra University (NMU), Jalgaon; It is granted by University Grant Commission (UGC), New Delhi & Re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bengaluru. Garud College was established in June 1971 by the Shendurni Secondary Education Co-operative Society. It has 44 years of glorious history as the flagship of quality education in rural area of Jalgaon District. The College is set aesthetically in a splendid 10+ acre campus. Situated at the apex of the Shendurni town and dotted with lush green trees and shrubs all around, it has the most picturesque and inviting atmosphere. It is approximately 1.5KMs away from Shendurni City in natural surroundings to avoid crowd. Its building has been designed with great care, not only to suit the purpose of all-round education, but also to give an ideal atmosphere of comfort zone to the students. We believe in the Right to Education and hence admissions are given without any discrimination of religion, caste or race, place of birth or any of them. The college has a junior & senior college wings. The junior college offers 11th, 12th in Arts & Commerce Faculty. The senior college offers under graduate courses in Arts, Commerce and Science Faculty. Courses are conducted on both grants-in-aid /non-grant basis of NMU. All the Courses are affiliated to North Maharashtra University (NMU), Jalgaon. Hostel facilities for boys and girls are available in the campus. The college has earned name & fame of its academic excellence, regularity and punctuality of its rigorous routine, high standard of discipline, administrative control & progressive outlook to serve the society. Our College has a qualitative educational approach based on modern international norms. The College aims to improve academic results as well as character, through a balanced curriculum and an all-round education of students with global education standards.
