Vivekanand Education Society started its educational activities in 1962 in chembur area of Mumbai with only 256 students in a High School The society celebrated its golden jubilee in the year 2013 The society has flourished by many folds in these 50 years The excellent and affordable educational conglomeration of institutions, more than 26 colleges, schools and other centers having students strength of 17112 with faculty/ teaching staff of 633 and non-teaching staff numbering to 320 under VES umbrella The society imparts education down from nursery to Graduation, Post-graduation and Ph D The Hashu Advani Memorial Complex accommodates the Engineering, Pharmacy and Management colleges affiliated to University of Mumbai with separate hostel facilities for boys and girls The society also plans to add new courses in collaboration with foreign universities
