Amruteshwar Arts , Commerce & Science College, vinzar started in 1997 with a vision and mission to provide higher education to students in rural and remote area like Velhe taluka. Establishment of this college has brought metamorphosis in the lives of students in hilly and remote area. Before establishment of this college in August 1997, seeking higher education was very time and money consuming process for the students and specially dream far away from reach for girls students. The level of literacy was very low due to inaccessibility of higher educational facilities. Establishment of this college has contributed a lot in development of percentage of higher education. Girls got avenue to complete their education which was otherwise very difficult. So as the rate of higher education increased, the doors of the world opened for them. Many students admitted for PG in their respective subjects, many opted for B.Ed, B.PEd, B.Lib, DBM. MBM courses. Many students became computer literate. Samaj Shikshan Mandal, vinzer and Amruteshwar Arts, Commerce & Science College is committed for continuous upliftment and progress of the unprivileged and underprivileged students from remote area. By understanding the fact that college is operating in one of the most backward thesis of the state Maharashtra, upliftment of the village people, inculcating learning habits and spreading the light of education up to the last family of the village is deeply convinced idea of the institution. The motto of college is ?Sarva Shreshth Dan Vidya Dan? i.e. ?Imparting knowledge is best donation?
