Institute of Health Sciences (IHS), Bhubaneswar is recognized as Referral Hospital for all Communication Disorders by Govt. of Orissa. Institute of Health Sciences (I.H.S), a pioneer institute in the state of Odisha, is a unit of Margdarsi. I.H.S is a Recognized Training Centre of Health & Family Welfare Department, Govt. of Odisha for Medical officers & Para-Medical Personnel. It is an associate of OPEPA in their Integrated Education for the Disabled (IED) program. I.H.S has empanelled itself as a referral hospital for various organizations. Institute of Health Sciences is the only institute in the state of Odisha providing unique Degree courses of rehabilitation sciences viz. Bachelor in Physiotherapy (BPT), Master in Physiotherapy (MPT), Bachelor in Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) and Master in Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (MASLP). The courses are recognized by the Government of Odisha, affiliated to Utkal University & approved by the RCI, New Delhi. Facilities at Institute of Health Sciences - Library Laboratories Class Rooms Internet Canteen Hostel Sports Scholarship at Institute of Health Sciences - Margdarsi Scholarship is provided to deserving candidates by different organizations with which I.H.S has tie up. Part or total course fees are sponsored through this scholarship. The eligibility for the scholarship is determined by the performance record of the student and interview Results. Only those who are already admitted into I.H.S shall be eligible for the Margdarsi Scholarship. Placement Cell at Institute of Health Sciences - IHS provides the resumes of its students to prospective employers and agencies to liaison for their suitable placement. It also compiles information of the available job opportunities within India or abroad for use by the students. I.H.S prepares its students for International placement, through work exposure in the best of the organization in India.
