Christ College

Christ College, Cuttack was established in 1944 by the Cuttack Christian Education Board (CCEB) in the name of Utkal Christian College and was affiliated to the Utkal University as an Intermediate College in Arts. In 1946-47, it was raised to the status of a Degree College in Arts with honors teaching facilities in English and Oriya. In 1949 the name of the college was changed to Christ College. The Science and Arts classes are held during the day while, the commerce classes are held in the morning and the self-financing course in C.A classes, in the evening. Christ College has been accredited B+ by National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The vision and mission of the institute is to provide value based education to students of all sections of the society, impart knowledge and professional expertise as well as produce excellent, responsible citizens and to focus on the unhesitating pursuit of truth and ethical values as well as eschewal of all that is petty, illogical, false or fallacious.
