St. Ann's College of Education?is a premier College of Teacher Education in India.? The College started in 1943, is the first private training college in Karnataka State when only two Government Training Colleges, i.e., in Mysore and Belgaum existed.? There were only four training colleges in South India, namely, in Madras when this college was affiliated to the Madras Presidency.
