Mar Severios College of Teacher Education

Based in Chengaroor, Mallappally, MSCTE was established in 1995 and has over the past twenty years trained vast number of teacher trainees from different parts of Kerala. The nearest Railway station and town to the College is Thiruvalla which is about 12 Km from here. The college prides itself on the quality of its courses and provides individual attention to students. The Institution has successfully completed its 20th batch of B.Ed Course and the M. Ed Course has been started functioning since 2005. The College has an intake of 1 unit of 50 students for the B.Ed Course distributed in the following optionals - English, Malayalam, Mathematics, Natural Science, Physical Science and Social Science. The strength for M. Ed course is 1 unit of 50 students distributed in English, Science and Social Science optionals. The College is a Self-Financing institution run by the Malankara Catholic Archdiocese of Thiruvalla
