B.Sc. (Nursing) Degree Course

B.Sc. (Nursing) course is designed in the same way as those of other well-known universities and is in accordance with the guidelines of Indian Nursing Council and has an approval of Maharashtra Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council. 

Eligiblity For Appearing In The Entrance Test And Subsequent Admission To The Course

The candidate should have passed H.S.C. I.C.S.E., P.U.C. of any recognized Board/University in India or any other examination equivalent to 10 + 2(Higher/Senior) Secondary Examination after twelve years of study from any institution situated in India, candidates should have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, biology and English individually and must have obtained 45% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and 40% in case of SC/ST students. 

Candidates who are likely to appear, or who have appeared for qualifying examination but whose results have not been declared will also be considered eligible for appearing for the E.T. (B.Sc. Nursing)-2017 provided they fulfill the eligibility conditions mentioned above. The candidates who fail to fulfill the above mentioned conditions regarding eligibility will not be considered eligible for admission to B.Sc. Nursing course, even if their names appears in the merit list. 

Nationality And Age :

The candidate must be an Indian national and should have completed 17 years of age on 31st Dec. 2017

Only those candidates who would satisfy all the eligibility requirements as mentioned above will be considered eligible to appear in the entrance test and for admission to the course. 

P.B.B.Sc. (Nursing) Degree Course

P.B.B.Sc. (Nursing) course is designed in the same way as those of other well-known universities and is in accordance with the guidelines of Indian Nursing Council and has an approval of Maharashtra Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council.

 Eligiblity For Appearing In The Entrance Test And Subsequent Admission To The Course

The students will be admitted according to the total marks obtained by the candidate in the final year of the G.N.M. course recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and State Nursing Council situated in India. 

Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary examination (10+2) along with G.N.M. from the nursing institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and State Nursing Council situated in India. 

Candidates must be medically fit to undergo the course. The candidates who fail to fulfill the above mentioned conditions regarding eligibility will not be considered eligible for admission to P.B.B.Sc. Nursing course, even if their names appear in the merit list.

COUNSELING AND SPOT ADMISSIONS (B.Sc NURSING) :

The counseling sessions will be conducted at Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, College of Nursing, Pune, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, College of Nursing, Navi Mumbai and Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, College of Nursing, Wanlesswadi, Sangli only.

The counselling and on the spot admissions session will be held at centers as per the following schedule.

The following certificates in original along with self attested two copies each of the same are to be submitted at the time of counseling and spot admission.

  •  Proof of date of Birth (S.S.C. certificate/School leaving certificate/birth certificate)
  • Statement of marks 10th std.
  • Statements of marks 12th std.
  • Passing/Degree certificate (Last qualifying examination)
  • Migration certificate from the University from which the candidate has passed the last examination.(other than Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University).
  • Transference /Leaving Certificate from the College last attended.
  • Character Certificate from Principal of the College last attended.
  • Affidavit regarding Gap in education.
  • Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ST Candidates)
  • Caste Validity Certificate (for SC/ST Candidates)
  • Change in Name Certificate (if any for married female students).
  • Attempt certificate
  • Registration certificate from state nursing council.
  • Medical fitness certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner
  • DD of the requisite fees as per the fee structure.
  • 5 Passport size recent photographs.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

A candidate desirous of appearing for the E.T. (B.Sc.Nursing) /(P.B.B.Sc.Nursing)-2017 entrance test is required to complete the prescribed application form and submit to the University along with entrance test fee of Rs. 1,100/- (Entrance test fee is non refundable)

The candidates should strictly follow the instructions given in the website while filling up the application form online, and must read the instructions carefully before filling up the online application form. Instructions are mentioned at ‘Registration Guide’ menu which is available on website. Before filling up the application form online, candidates should:

  1. Create their login credential
  2. Have a scanned image of their recent passport size photograph(Refer to guidelines mentioned on the website)
  3. Have a scanned image of their signature, ready before filling up the online application form.
  4. Read the procedure and guidelines for online payments of test fee which is to be made through Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking. (Refer to guidelines, terms and conditions for using online payment mentioned on the website)

The candidate may then proceed to fill the form and submit the completed application form. The candidate should take a print of payment receipt and completed application form for reference and as a record. Candidates should submit the completed online application form on or before the last date mentioned in the website.

Submission of Application form in person / by post / by Courier:

The Completed application form along with payment of entrance test fee is to be submitted to the "Admission Office, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Bharati Vidyapeeth Bhavan,2nd Floor, Common Entrance Test Cell, L.B.S. Marg, Pune 411030 " either in person or through Post / Courier.

The entrance test fee may be paid in cash or through bank draft on any nationalized Bank or any branch of Bharati Sahakari Bank Ltd. drawn in favour of "The Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune”, payable at Pune. 

If payment is done through cash, the candidate has to fill up bank challan (available at the Common Entrance Test Cell) and deposit the filled up challan and test fee to the Bharati Sahakari Bank main branch on the working days of the bank. A copy of the challan along with the completed application form should be submitted to the Common Entrance Test Cell after which an acknowledgement receipt will be provided to the candidate.

The last date of submission of application form will be 27th May 2017 before 5:00 pm.

An incomplete application form or an application form which is not accompanied by necessary payment, will not be entertained and processed.

The University will not be responsible for any delay or loss of application / admission card/counselling letter/any communication in transit. Such delay will not be condoned. 

B.Sc. Nursing Syllabus:

Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.

They will be set on the topics in the syllabus of 10+2 (H.S.C.) Course. Based on in general pattern of 10 + 2 examination syllabus.

P.B.B.Sc. Nursing Syllabus:

These Questions will be based on the topics in the R.G.N.M. Syllabus

  • Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, College of Nursing, Pune : 65 seats

  • Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, College of Nursing, Sangli : 50 seats
  • Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, College of Nursing, Navi Mumbai : 50 seats

Note :

15% percent of seats for each course at each college are reserved for Foreign/NRI(Non-ResidentIndian)/P.I.O./O.C.I./ Institutional Quota Merit Category students. Candidates seeking admissions to the seats of this category will have to apply to The Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune. The last date for submission of form to this Category is 27th May 2017 before 5.00 p.m. Seats remaining vacant after allotment to Foreign / N.R.I. / P.I.O. / O.C.I. students (based on merit), will be allotted to Indian students under Institutional Quota Merit Category on the basis of marks obtained by them in the ET-B.Sc. (Nursing) 2017.
