MAH MBA CET 2024 exam will be conducted by Maharashtra State CET Cell on March 9 and 10, 2024. The exam is conducted for admission to MBA/MMS courses offered by over 300 colleges and institutes. MAH MBA CET 2024 registration dates are January 11 to January 31, 2024. MAH MBA CET 2024 will be held is conducted for admission to MBA/MMS courses offered by over 300 B-schools in Maharashtra. The exam is conducted by the Maharashtra State CET cell annually in March-April. The MAH CET 2024 will be held on March 9 and 10, 2024. Although MAH MBA CET is conducted for Maharashtra State candidates, students from rest of India can also appear for it. The exam is followed by a common counselling process called - Centralised Admission Process or CAP through which seats are allotted to candidates in MBA/MMS programmes offered by over 300 Maharashtra institutes.

MAH MBA CET Eligibility Criteria 2024

  • Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 50 per cent in aggregate (at least 45 per cent in case of reserved category candidates).
  • Final year graduation students or those awaiting their bachelor's degree result are also eligible to apply. However, their average score of 2 years, should meet the minimum score criteria.
  • Candidates appearing for CAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA are considered to be eligible for admission in the All India Seats category. Such candidates need to fill only the online application form for MAH CET Counselling which is conducted one to two months after the entrance exam result declaration.

 

MAH MBA CET CAP 2024 Counselling Process

MAH MBA CET is followed by a common counselling process for seat allotment which is called Centralised Admission Process (CAP). The MBA CAP is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell for allotment of seats in participating institutes. All MBA CET qualifiers can participate in MBA CAP rounds. Students from outside Maharashtra are required to have a valid scores of CAT /GMAT /CMAT /MAT /XAT /ATMA to be eligible to apply for admissions to Maharashtra management colleges under counselling

MBA CET CAP registrations is done online. Candidates have to register for the MBA CET CAP on Maharashtra CET website before the deadline. Listed below are key points candidates must know about MAH CET MBA counselling.

  • MAH MBA CET CAP round is held in two to three rounds for both Maharashtra State and Outside Maharashtra State candidates.
  • MAH MBA CET CAP registration fees (for non-MAH CET students) is INR 1,000 to be paid at the time of filling the application online. For Reserved category students to fee is INR 800.
  • Upon selection for admission, the candidate will be required to visit designated counselling centres for document verification.
  • MAH MBA CET CAP 2024 schedule will be announced after the declaration of entrance exam result.

Syllabus

  1. Logical / Abstract Reasoning

This shall include the questions to measure how quickly and accurately you can think. This test may have questions based on figures and diagrams and also question on verbal reasoning.

      B. Quantitative Aptitude

This shall include the questions to know how fast and accurate you can work with numbers, do numerical calculations, understand various arithmetic problems involving ratio and proportion, percentage, etc. This test also helps to measure your power of quantitative reasoning, interpretation of tables, common graphs and charts.

C. Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension

       This shall include passages with questions based on their contents to test your comprehension. Your                   English   Language ability would be tested through questions on grammar, vocabulary, sentence                           completion, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension of passages etc. Your English language ability would               be tested through questions on

      (1) understanding of the contents of the passage and

      (2) choice of appropriate words, phrases, expressions and similar language skills
