Course Detail

B.Tech. (Mechanical Engineering)Bachelor of Techonology in Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering is the sphere of applied science that combines aspects of engineering, physics, material science and related concepts for the conceptualization, analysis, manufacture, and maintenance of various mechanical systems and processes. It is considered as one of the widest and well established of the known engineering disciplines. It is a very diverse field, covering distinct areas like automation, production, combustion techniques, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, dynamic systems, mechanical system design, manufacturing processes, mechanics of solids, IC engines, materials behavior and processing etc. Modifications are made to include advanced topics of technical relevance every four years. Additionally, Subjects like Finite Element Theory, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and Heat transfer allow for a fresh approach towards Mechanical Engineering studies. The whole purpose of this course is to train prospective learners about the complete process right from designing to creating the final product.  The B.tech program is one of the most widely known programs in the world. As it is considered an evergreen field of studies, placements are usually a breeze irrespective of the college. Most of the potential candidates get recruited by top organizations fairly quickly. E.g. companies like ONGC, Hero Motors, BHEL, Maruti, TCS, and Ashok Leyland are heavily interested in Mechanical engineers.
