Karunya University offers 12 Undergraduate programmes. Students are free to choose the subjects they study every semester. This helps them follow their dreams without being bounded by a restricted curriculum. Students are also offered free electives which help them to understand multi-disciplinary streams. Students are also taken to Industrial visits in additional exposure to Guest Lectures, Short Term Courses, etc. which help students to understand the subjects from practical point of view. Various Departmental Symposiums are also conducted in which various technical events ranging from Paper Presentation, Project Exhibitions, Non-technical events are conducted.

A pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with 50% marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
or
A pass in 10+2 Vocational stream (with the subjects General machinist, electrical machines and appliances, electronic equipments, draughtsman civil, auto mechanic, textile technology, etc.) with any one of the Engineering related subjects namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with minimum average percentage put together 50%.
A pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with 50 % marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (or) A pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with 50% marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Zoology / Botany / Computer Science (Provided the candidate has not studied Mathematics in +2 or Equivalent).

Provisional admission to any branch of choice will be done in the following way:

Step 1:

Aspirants can log on to http://admissions.karunya.edu/ and submit their expression of interest (EOI) online about the course he / she would like to pursue at Karunya University.

Step 2:

Once the EOI is received, aspirants will receive an acknowledgement SMS and email from Karunya University with the Application No. and pass code to apply online.

Step 3:

With the Application No. and pass code, aspirants can submit his / her online application at http://admissions.karunya.edu/adm17/. They can also make the initial payment (as per the approved fee structure of Karunya University) through online mode / DD mode / electronic payment mode / cash payment mode to book his / her seat in the branch of his / her choice.

Aspirants who wish to pursue UG / Integrated / Diploma course should upload their SSLC mark statement and all other candidates (including candidates who wish to join in Lateral Entry course and PG course) should upload their last received semester mark statement. Each document the candidates attach must be no larger than 1 MB in JPEG format.

Remittance of fees:

Following are the options available for depositing the fee:

Note:

Details of the fee deposited by the aspirant must immediately be furnished to the Admissions Officer through email: [email protected] / [email protected] giving application no., aspirant's name, and course to which admitted and scanned copy of the bank receipt / cash counter receipt etc. Once the payment is accounted, the candidate can download the receipt.

Step 4:

Once the application is submitted successfully, aspirants will get a confirmation SMS and Email to download their provisional admission order from the University website.

Online application fee:

Karunya University accepts only online application as per the procedures indicated above. The candidates are informed to include the application form fee (Rs. 1000 for Indian Nationals / USD 60 for NRI or Foreign Nationals) when they make the first payment to the University during the online application process.
