About AIPVT
AIPVT (All India Pre-Veterinary Test) is replaced by the NEET examination from 2017. AIPVT exam is conducted to offer admission into B.V.Sc and A.H. The admission in the Veterinary courses will be given to the candidates based on the basis of the NEET 2023 merit list.

The process for AIPVT registration will be online. The candidates must go through the eligibility criteria decided by the authority to apply for AIPVT 2023 and get admission.

The examination will be conducted on the national level. The AIPVT exam will be conducted offline. Candidates who are interested should take a look at the information which is given below in detail for the AIPVT exam.

The B.V.Sc and A.H course duration are of a total of 5 and a half years. This also consists of a one-year-long rotating internship that students must undergo. The following table gives some important information regarding the AIPVT exam.

AIPVT 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

The necessary info relating to eligibility criteria is mentioned below for the reference of the applicants:

  • Nationality: Candidates should be a Indian Citizen .
  • Qualification: Applying applicants should have passed 10+2 intermediate or equivalent examination from any recognised board.
  • Subjects: Candidates should have Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology with English as compulsory subjects in qualifying examination.
  • Marks: Applicants must have obtained at least 50% marks (5% for reserved category) with 50% aggregate in PCBE.
  • Age Limit: Applying candidates age must be within 17 to 25 years as on/ before 31st December 2022.
  • Relaxation in age: Relaxation of 5 Years will be given to SC/ ST category candidates in maximum age limit. 

Counselling process

  1. The online counselling for admission to B.V.Sc and AH degree courses under 15% seats in recognized Veterinary Colleges on All India basis will be conducted by VCI through NIC.

    The seat will be allotted in the colleges based on the availability of seats, candidates NEET rank and the choice exercised by the candidates subjects to fulfillment of other criteria, nationality, age, essential qualification, etc. The seat allotment will only be in respect of recognised Veterinary Colleges (both Government and Private) in India.

    The eligibility criteria and the documents of the candidate shall be verified by the allotted college/ university at the time of his/ her reporting/ admission and the decision of the college/ university in the matter shall be final.

    The candidate allotted seat in the first round of counselling and reports for admission within schedule dates will have an opportunity for up graduation by exercising re-choice filling in the second round of counselling. In the case of seat allotted in Round 2, the seat allotted earlier in Round 1 will stand cancelled.

     

 

Application Process

  • Step 1: Go to the official website of AIPVT.
  • Step 2: Submit the details on the AIPVT registration page and complete filling the personal and educational details in the AIPVT application form.
  • Step 3: Once the AIPVT registration is completed, note down the registration number.
  • Step 4: Pay the AIPVT 2023 application fee either using credit card/ debit card/ net banking or e-challan.
  • Step 5: Take a printout of the 'AIPVT Confirmation Slip' after successful transaction.

    AIPVT 2023 Application Fee

    The AIPVT 2023 application fee differs according to the categories of the candidates. The AIPVT application fee for the applicants is INR 1500 for general and OBC candidates. It is INR 750 for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates. An additional late fee of 750 is applicable to candidates submitting the application form past the last date.

Along with the results, the examination authority also releases the AIPVT cut off. The AIPVT cut off is the marks that the candidates must score to qualify for the examination and take part in AIPVT 2023 counselling.

The AIPVT 2023 counselling list will be prepared in accordance with the total number of candidates who have attempted AIPVT 2023 exam, the number of seats and the difficulty level of examination. The cut off for the institutes in the participating states will be separately declared by the concerned authority in the participating states.

AIPVT 2023 Reservation of Seats

Reservation will be applicable to the castes mentioned in the Central list of OBC. The candidates failing in this category may mention OBC in the category column in the application form.

  • 15% seats are reserved for SC candidates.
  • 5% seats are reserved for ST candidates.
  • 10% seats are reserved for EWS candidates.
  • 27% seats are reserved for OBC candidates.

How to Download AIPVT 2023 Admit Card?

The candidates can download the AIPVT 2023 admit card from the official website following the steps given below.

  • Step 1: Go to the official website of AIPVT.
  • Step 2: Enter the details such as the registration number and password.
  • Step 3: Click on the 'AIPVT Admit Card' link.
  • Step 4: Download the admit card along with a proforma.
  • Step 5: Paste the passport size photograph on the proforma.
