  • The candidates belonging to all reserved categories should be bonafide Himachali only. 
  • It may be noted that certificates issued/obtained for inclusion in IRDP/OBC Categories is in prescribed formats as made applicable by the state of HP from time to time. 
  •  The certificate of IRDP issued by a competent authority will not be valid if more than 6 months old and that of OBC should not be more than one year old however in the latest prescribed format.

Pay Scale : In the Pay Band : RS. 5910-20200/- +Grade pay Rs. 1950/-

The contractual appointee will be paid fixed contractual amount @ 7860 per month(which shall be equal to minimum of the pay band + grade pay). The contract appointee will be entitled for increase in contractual amount @ 236/- (3% of minimum of the pay band + grade pay of the post) for further extended years and no other allied benefits such as senior/ selection scales etc. will be given.

Essential Qualification 

  • 10+2 from a recognized Board of School Education/University. 
  • One year Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Application/Information Technology from a recognized University/Institution or 'O' & 'A' level Diploma from National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology(NIELIT)Or Diploma in Information Technology(IT)from a recognized ITI/Institution. Computer typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi. 

Desirable Qualification 

  • Knowledge of customs, manner and dialects Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

Age ( as on 1st January, 2017):

"Candidate should be above 18 years and below 45 year of age. The candidate born between 01-01-1999 and 02-01-1972 (both days inclusive) are eligible." 

In case of SC/ST candidates if apply upper age is relaxable by 5 year". as per R& P rules. 

Examination Centres : 

Examination centre shall be in compatibility with the number of application received and preferably at Sub Division level in the State. 

The examination centre once allotted to the candidate shall not be changed. No request for change of examination centre shall be entertained at any stage. While every effort shall be made to allot a center of choice of the candidate, the H.P. Board of School Education reserves the right to allot/change or cancel any examination centre at its discretion

Four Simple Steps to Fill Online Application Form

Step 1: Click on Register link and fill the Online Application Form. Candidates are advised to note down his/her system generated Application Number. The candidate should supply all the details while filling the online Application Form and no columns shall be kept vacant. After successful submission of the data, Application number will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining steps of the Application Form and also required for all future correspondence. For subsequent logins, candidate will be able to Sign In directly with his/her respective system generated Application Number and Date of Birth. This Application Number  and Date of Birth are required for subsequent operation(s); hence the candidate should keep a printout of the same with him for ready reference. Printout option for system generated Application No. is available on Website.

Step 2: Candidate must upload his/her scanned images of Photograph and Signature. The scanned images of photograph, Signature should be in jpg/jpeg format only. Size of the photo image must be greater than 15 Kb and less than 20 Kb. Size of the signature image must be greater than 10 Kb and less than 15 Kb.

Step 3: Candidate has to pay examination fee through online payment mode using Credit Card or Debit Card only.

Step 4: After Final Submission of the Online Application Form, candidate will take printout of his/her Application Form, and after taking the printout will affix same copy of his/her passport size photograph which has earlier been scanned and uploaded by the candidate in the application form. The photograph will be pasted on the form and no stapling would be permissible. The candidate after affixing the photograph will put his/her signature on the downloaded application form and send it to the S.O (Recruitment Cell), HP Board of School Education, Dharamshala (Kangra)-176213 by post or submit it directly at the counter of the Board office.

After Final Submission of the Online Application Form no further correction(s) will be allowed in the information provided in the Form.

  • GENERAL CATEGORY : Rs. 600/-(Rupees Six Hundred only)
  • SC/ST/OBC : Rs. 400/-(Rupees Four Hundred only)

Service Charges & Service Tax if applicable will be charged extra by the Bank. 

 

Composition of Marks and time for written exams :

Structure of the Junior Office Assistant (Information Technology) Class-III(On Contract Basis) Exam

Distribution of Written Test and Evaluation marks 

Written test = 85 marks

Evaluation = 15 marks 

Duration  90 minutes
Section of the Question Paper for Junior Office Assistant(Information Technology

General English = 10 Marks 

General Hindi = 10 Marks

General Knowledge (Including General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh) = 15 Marks 

Current Affair, Everyday Science and Logic etc. = 10 Marks 

Numerical Ability/ Quantitative Aptitude = 10 Marks 

Computer/Clerical Aptitude = 30 Marks 

Standard of Exam  The standard of questions should be up to 10+2 level of the HP Board of School Education and consisting the syllabus of subject/concern field. i.e. One Year Computer Course Level. 
Type Skill Test  Type Skill Test on computer of qualifying nature in prescribed speed (i.e. A minimum speed of 30 words in English typewriting or 25 words per minute in Hindi Typewriting on Computer) for those who qualify the objective type Written test. * The type skill test would be qualifying in nature, no marks will be allotted for it. The candidates for typing skill test would be called in the ratio of 1:10 on the basis of written exam. Those who qualify the type skill Test would be invited for interview in the ratio of 1:3 strictly on the basis of the written Exam.
Evaluation (marks distribution ) of candidate selected after Skill test

i) Weightage for the minimum educational qualification, prescribed in the Recruitment & Promotion Rules. = 2.5 Marks

{Percentage of marks obtained in the educational qualification would be multiplied by 0.025. For example, an individual has secured 50% marks in the required educational qualification, he/ she will be allowed 1.25 marks(50x0.025=1.25)} 

ii) Belonging to notified Backward Area or Panchayat, as the case may be. = 01 Mark

iii) Land less family/ family having land less than 1 Hectare to be certified by the concerned Revenue Authority. = 01 Mark

v) Non-employment Certificate to the effect that none of the family members is in Government/ Semi-Government service. = 01 Mark

v) Differently abled persons with more than 40% impairment/ disability/ infirmity. = 01 Mark

vi) NSS (atleast one year)/ certificate holders in NCC/ The Bharat Scout and Guide/ Medal winner in National Level sports competitions

vii) BPL family having annual income (from all sources) below ` 40,000/-or as prescribed by the Govt. from time to time.= 02 Marks

viii) Widow/ divorced/destitute/single woman. = 01 Mark 

ix) Single daughter/ Orphan = 01 Mark 

x) Training of atleast 6 months duration related to the post applied for from a recognized University/ Institution. = 01 Mark

xi) Experience upto a maximum of 5 years in Govt./Semi-Govt. Organization relating to the post applied for (0.5 marks only for each completed year) = 2.5 Marks

TOTAL = 15 Marks 

 

Download Admit Card HPBoSE Junior Office Assistant (I.T)

The Admit Card shall be issued only to those candidates who have submitted their Application Form complete in all respects within the stipulated time frame and who fulfils the minimum eligibility criteria laid down for the purpose. The Admit Card shall be downloaded from board website www.hpbose.org before the five days commencement of examination.

Admit Card is not transferable to any other person. Impersonation is legally punishable/cognizable offence.

The Admit Card will contain your name, roll number, photograph, signature of the candidate, address of the examination centre and test schedule.

No candidate will be allowed to enter in the Examination Hall without a valid Admit Card.

Application form without online shall not be considered and no Admit card shall be issued to such candidates.
