With the able guidance of Mr.K.C Palanisamy, Managing Trustee, SMS College of Arts and Science was established in the year 1991 with the aim of imparting quality education to the rural mass. It is a Co-educational institution offering 12 U.G. & 5 P.G. Courses catering to the needs of the present industries. The institution is dedicated to promote good citizens with knowledge, skills and character contributing to societal transformation and national development, with the motto of ?Education for Prosperity?. Our College has received the ISO:9001 Certification for excellent infrastructure and efficient administration. The College has been built a spacious campus. We have got the ?Prime Achiever?s Award? & Annai Indira Gandhi Award as well. The college is well connected with bus facilities and easily accessible from in and around the district.
