Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE) is the computerbased entrance test held for 10+2 passed candidates for admission in BTech courses. Admission via AEEE is given in BTech courses offered at Amrita University campuses at Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru,Chennai, Coimbatore and Nagercoil (new from 2024). Candidates who secure ranks in AEEE have to then appear in the counselling process called Amrita BTech Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP). Via CSAP, AEEE qualified candidates can then participate in programme selection and seat allotment leading to admission to the desired course and campus.

AEEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates planning to apply for AEEE must check the eligibility criteria below:
Educational Qualification:
 A pass in 10 + 2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination from a recognized board.
 Minimum 60% aggregate of marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
 Not less than 55% in each of these three subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Age:
Candidates born on or after July 1, 2003.

 The questions are based on the syllabus in Class 11th & Class 12th .
 All the questions are of MultipleChoice type and have four options as possible answers.
 Candidates can choose the most appropriate answer for each question in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
 Answers marked can be changed later, before the final submission of all the answers.
 3 (Three) marks are awarded for each correct answer and 1(negative one) for each wrong answer.

AEEE 2024 Counselling: CSAP
Candidates with AEEE 2024 rank or JEE Mains 2024 Percentile Score or Rank have to register for CSAP 2024. CSAP is held for all AEEE qualified candidates, in order to secure admission to the BTech programme offered at 5 campuses (Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Nagercoil) of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. â€¯Seat allotment is fully online and there is no need for the candidates to visit the campus to attend the counselling. All the candidates with AEEE 2024 rank or JEE Mains 2024 Percentile Score /Rank shall be intimated by Email, SMS, and WhatsApp about the CSAP.
Note that, class 12 marks are not considered for the allotment, and it is required only after the confirmation of admission.

How to Apply
Candidates can apply for AEEE 2024 online on the official website, amrita.edu. The application form must be submitted as per the deadline for each phase. The candidates are advised to have their own personal and valid email ID and mobile number. Candidates are advised to retain the registered mobile number and email they have submitted in the application form till all the admission procedures are completed as all important updates will be informed to the candidates through SMS/email or both.
Candidates need to complete the following sections to submit the application:

AEEE 2024 Slot Booking  Phase 1
Candidates registered for AEEE have to select the “slot and time slot” of their choice, subject to availability, by visiting the University website prior to the last date. This process is called “SLOT BOOKING.” Test Centre, Number of days and Number of operating slots in a day are finalised based on the number of candidates for a particular city. The allotment of dates/slots is on a first come first serve basis. If a candidate does not exercise their option, they are assigned a date/ slot as per the availability of the same. To Book Exam Date and Slot, registered candidates need to click the AEEE slot booking link provided on the University webpage as per the schedule.
How to book slots: Candidates have to log in on the official website. After logging in, the candidates can select the test date and test slots based on availability. To choose the date, click on the available date and click the continue button. In the next screen, candidates will be prompted to select a test slot based on its availability status. Click the “Confirm Slot” button to confirm the booking. A slot once booked cannot be changed under any circumstances. Requests for change of test centres also will not be entertained. The address of the examination centre for a candidate will be mentioned in the admit card, which can be downloaded after booking the slots.

Candidates who are preparing for the entrance test can know how to prepare for AEEE by referring to the preparation tips given below and following them will aid candidates to make their preparation better.
Know your AEEE syllabus thoroughly
Before starting with preparation, candidates must know the detailed syllabus. Through the syllabus of AEEE they will be able to know all the subjects and topics where the questions are produced. By knowing, the syllabus candidates can segregate each unit or chapter accordingly to fare well in the exam
Plan a study timetable
Devising proper planning is a prerequisite to scoring well in the exam. It is important to plan your objective for preparation well in advance. After selecting the best books, and knowing the syllabus and question paper pattern, candidates must divide their time effectively to ensure that they complete their syllabus on time and have enough time for revision.
Also, make sure to maintain a strict routine on a daily basis and avoid random or weekend preparation sessions. Consistency is most important here. Divide sections as per the time in hand and plan study hours accordingly.
Begin with the basics

Revise wisely
After completing each topic from the syllabus of AEEE, candidates are advised to keep at least one month or two for revision. However, do not spend much time on it as it might impact your preparation. Revision at this stage should be quick and try to cover the syllabus by covering each chapter. Take help from the short notes that you made during preparation.
Avoid lastminute preparation
In the last lap of preparation, avoid taking any new topics from any subject. This will create chaos and further confusion. In the last week, candidates should be determined and very subjective in terms of the syllabus to be revised. You should study only those topics, which are weak and needs improvement.

It is not a very good idea to pressurize yourself during preparation. Include stress busters whenever you feel burdened. Watch your favourite television show, go for a movie, a small outing or play your favourite indoor or outdoor games. Always remember, stress will never gain marks in the exam, so better try avoiding it.

AEEE 2024 Admit Card
AEEE 2024 admit card is issued provisionally to the candidate to attend the entrance examination. Admit card to write the examination is generated only for those eligible candidates who have submitted their application form complete in all respects.
To download the AEEE admit card candidates have to use their registered Email ID / Application Number and Date of Birth. Candidates must keep in mind that the admit card is not sent by post. One has to visit the official website, amrita.edu/admissions to access the link to download the admit card.
On the AEEE admit card, candidates can check details like the Name and Registration Number of the candidate, Date of Exam, Address of the Exam Centre allotted etc. After downloading the admit card, candidates have to ensure that the data is printed as per the application form submitted by them. In case of any discrepancy, candidates must get it resolved by opening a ticket in the online query management system for a faster resolution. Admit Card is an important document and must be kept safe till the completion of the admission procedure.
