As-Salam College of Engineering and Technology

With the blessings of the Almighty, in the middle of the year 2008, six friends, M.J. Jamal Mohamed Ibrahim, A.M. Shahjahan, J. Anwar Basha, O. Mohamed Hussain, A. Sirajudeen and Y. Sadiq Mydeen convened a meeting at Aduthurai, near Kumbakonam in which thirty social workers attended. They discussed and decided to establish a Charitable and Educational Trust for the improvement of our nation and society, committed to social welfare and upliftment of the society. They assured to dedicate themselves to work with full interest for the same purpose.
