Desh Bhagat College of Education

Desh Bhagat College of Education is one of the prestigious institutions of Malwa region. It was established in the year 2005 to provide professional training in education and to develop desirable attitude among the students. It is duly recognized by NCTE, Jaipur and Punjab State Govt. and is affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala. The college is run by Desh Bhagat College Trust Bardwal (Regd.) Dhuri which is a non-government registered organization working towards empowering rural communities by increasing their access to education. The Trust is working under the worthy guidance of its chairperson Sh. P.S. Gill, IPS (Retd.) and Secretary Sh. B.S. Randhawa, Ex-Chairman, Marketing Committee, Dhuri. Desh Bhagat College of Education, Bardwal is a co-educational institution. Ever since its inception, it has played an important role in educational, social and economic development of the region. At present, the college is offering B.Ed. Regular two year courses and M. A. (Education) Regular two year course. The college staff is very well-qualified, experienced and hard working. We have developed a decent campus having modern infrastructure and enriched facilities which include spacious and well furnished class-rooms, separate common rooms for girls and boys, well equipped labs, well stocked library, wi-fi internet facility for students and staff, canteen facility, transport facility and abundant parking facility. The college has maintained its own lawns and parks for the students. The institution renders quality education in teacher training courses by innovative teaching methodologies.
