Bofore 1986 there was a huge cry for higher education. At that time, the pre university education was the only source and the students of this locality had to depend on far off cities. Owing to this, the rural children and the children of those who were economically backward in general and women In particular, that none had come up with thoughts pertaining to start a higher education. Under such circumstances, Sri G. S. Patil?s deep understanding and a thrust to start a education institution inspired him to establish this college in 1986 in Rottigawad village. However, the experience of the management committee made them feel that shifting to a centralized place will provide opportunities to a wider and larger population of this locality.
