Further it is based on values of caring & helps the individuals to attain independence in self care. Florence School & College of Nursing is came into existence around the nucleus of Florence School of Nursing in March 2007 & later raised to the status of College of Nursing in Sep 2010 (now called Florence School & College of Nursing). The purpose of establishing the Institution was to contribute towards overcoming Shortage of Nurses in the country to some extent. The other aim was to encourage the girls from rural Community especially the weaker section of society to take up this noble profession & hence meeting the needs of Grass root level. Since Nurses contribute to provide a large part of health Care, their training should equip them with professional expertise to meet the changing demands of society. Hence emphasis must be laid to impart Knowledge most relevant to the health care needs of Community & Society at large. Keeping this in view Florence School & College of Nursing is continuously striving to maintain qualitative environment with a world of knowledge, quest for excellence in education with Holistic approach, conducive for effective learning. Florence School & College of Nursing came under the domain of Haryana Gramin Vikas Samaj Seva Samiti Faridabad in 2007. The Institution is academically affiliated to Pt. B. D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak as dept of Nursing Under faculty of Nursing and to HNRC for GNM & M.P.H.W. (F) and approved by Government of Haryana as M.P.H.W. (Male).
