GTP College of Education for Women, Bhimavaram was established in 1984 managed under Bhimavaram Education Society in Bhimavaram to facilitate professional training to women candidates. The College is named after the Chief Donar Sir. Pedatata and his beloved wife Tulasamma. The institution?s Mission and Goals are started in the college emblem. The Torch and the open book in the emblem represent the ever glowing and growing knowledge. The petals of the lotus represent the varied fields of knowledge. The College strives hard to impart the best professional training to prospective teachers. The College is recognized by NCTE and Govt of AP. The College is affiliated to Andhra University, Bhimavaram.
