Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Dairy Science and Technology

Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Dairy Technology (SGIDT), Patna was established on 14th December 1980 under Rajendra Agricultural University, Pusa (Samistipur), Bihar. Academic activities started since 1982 in Rajendra Agricultural University, Pusa campus and subsequently shifted to ARI, campus, Patna since 1986. Later on, the college was shifted in its own premises on 16th May 1999, at Jagdeopath, Patna and presently it is working in the Faculty of Dairy Technology under the auspices of Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour, Bhagalpur.
