SN College

The College has got cheqered history, the pages of which unfurl a contracting record of rise and fall, success and failure. Initially a science college in its inception in 1962, it full filled all conditions by depositing necessary concurrence and Affilation fees for Science subject in the University in the year 1967. Thus the college took its origin in Giria Math House. Then continued a series of natural calamities the killer cyclone of 1967, the high flood of 1968 & 1969, the killer tidal bore of 1971. All these conspired together to shatter the financial back-bone of the people of the locality niping their hopes in the bud. The abnormal political situation of the later half of 1975 worsened the matter still further as the Govt. imposed a total ban on the opening of new college in Orissa.
