TS ICET 2024: Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released TS ICET exam dates 2024. MBA and MCA exam is scheduled to be held on June 4 and 5, 2024. Along with the CET Calendar, TSCHE notified that Kaktiya University will hold the responsibility to conduct the exam in Telangana. Candidates can expect the registration for TSICET exam to start from March, 2024. More than 75,000 aspirants apply for Telnagana ICET exam from the official website, icet.tsche.ac.in. The online entrance exam for Telangana MBA admissions has 200 objective-type questions from three different sections.

What is TSICET?

Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET) acts as the gateway to MBA and MCA admission in Universities/institutes situated in Telangana. Kakatiya University, Warangal, on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education, conducts the TSICET exam every year. Last year, more than 75,000 candidates applied for the state-level entrance test for MBA/MCA admissions. The number of test-takers will likely remain similar in the current session, i.e. TSICET 2024. TSICET is a computer-based exam, conducted for two and a half-hour in as many as 14 cities across Telangana.

TSICET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

TS ICET 2024 Counselling: Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) releases the TS ICET counselling details on the official counselling website, tsicet.nic.in. Candidates who pass TS ICET exam with a minimum qualifying cutoff are eligible for the Telangana ICET counselling. TS ICET Eligibility Criteria for Admission 2024

TS ICET Preparation Tips 2024

TSICET is a speed-based test. Test takers need to answer as many as 200 questions in 150 minutes. Each question carries one mark with no negative marking for incorrect responses. To prepare well for the test, prepare a study routine, buy the best books for preparation and aim to cover topics by focusing on the underlying concepts. All the topics have difficult standards of graduation level; therefore, most applicants are already familiar with the same. Candidates must schedule topics in the personalised study plan by prioritising them based on their strengths and weaknesses. Create a study plan by following the steps mentioned below:

  1. Allot at least six months to cover the TSICET syllabus
  2. Self-analyse reparation through the practice of sample papers.

TS ICET Cut Off 2024

Kakatiya University, Warangal will conduct the ICET 2024 exam on June 4 and 5 for admission to MBA/MCA courses offered by B-schools that accept Telangana ICET 2024 to shortlist students for the next rounds of the selection process. Candidates must score TS ICET 2024 qualifying marks and clear the TS ICET cut off to qualify for counselling.

The TS ICET qualifying marks for BC/ General are 25% of the marks, which means candidates have to get 50 out of 200 marks in order to qualify for the test. However, no minimum marks are defined for SC/ST candidates.

Each institute accepting TS ICET scores will release its own list of TS ICET cut off 2024 for all the categories after taking the TS ICET exam cutoff factors into consideration. Some prominent factors are the number of candidates that appeared in the TS ICET 2024, the difficulty level of the exam, the number of seats available, etc.

TSICET Qualifying Marks 2024

Mere qualification in the TS ICET test does not entitle a candidate to have been admitted into an MBA/MCA course unless the candidate:

TSICET 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates must abide by the following exam day guidelines for a hassle-free examination

  1. Check the status of daily traffic at the route from your residence to the exam centre using Google maps
  2. Reach the TS ICET exam centre at least an hour before the exam commencement time
  3. Do not sign the admit card beforehand
  4. Do not forget to carry a printed copy of the TSICET hall ticket on the examination day
  5. Keep at least three feet distance from other test takers at all times inside the exam centre
  6. Sit at the seat allotted as per the seating chart at the examination centre.
  7. Read the instruction manual properly before proceeding to check the questions in the question paper
  8. Candidates will be provided with a rough sheet at the time of the exam. This rough sheet shall be submitted before leaving the examination hall
  9. Keep an eye on the watch to manage the time for all three sections
