Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) governed by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board for admission in various B.Tech courses offered by the participating institutes in Bihar

BCECE 2017 Exam Pattern:

  • BCECE 2017 will be conducted in two stages.
  • First stage of the exam will be of 2 hours and 15 minutes duration. In stage 1 of BCECE 2017, a total of 150 questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (50 questions from each subject).
  • While, attempting questions during the exam, candidates must mark answers very carefully to avoid negative marking. Each correctly marked answers will be awarded 4 marks but for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted. Total marks for stage 1 of BCECE 2017 exam will be 600.
  • In stage 2 of BCECE 2017, separate exams will be conducted for the three subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. There will be 100 questions in each question paper and the total marks for a subject/paper will be 400 (4 marks per question). Each paper of stage 2 will be of 90 minutes and there will be a gap of 30 minutes between two consecutive papers.
  • For every answer marked correctly in stage 2 of BCECE 2017 exam, 4 marks will be awarded and for every wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted. Total marks for stage 2 exam will be 1200.

BCECE 2017 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates aspiring for BCECE 2017 must be citizen of India.
  • As qualifying exam for BCECE 2017, candidates must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent with minimum of 45% of marks (40% for SC/ST) from any recognized Board/University.
  • They must have studied subjects Physics, Chemistry Mathematics/Biology as primary subjects in their 10+2 or equivalent.
  • Students who are going to appear for board in 2017 can also apply for the BCECE 2017.
  • No age restriction has been levied by the board for candidates applying to BCECE 2017.

Ranks obtained by candidates in the entrance exam will be the basis of their eligibility for BCECE 2017 Counselling. It is must for all candidates to qualify both the stages of the entrance exam to appear in BCECE 2017 Counselling. Qualified candidates will also be required to register themselves and apply for the choice filling in order to participate in counselling and seat allotment procedure.

As per the dates scheduled on the basis of candidates’ ranks in BCECE, they have to report for the handwriting test. Candidates can also participate in the Provisional Allotment process and check their status for the same. All candidates must keep in mind that Provisional Allotment Status should not be considered as the final allocation status. Only the candidates, who will qualify the handwriting test, can download their allotment letter for BCECE 2017. After successful completion of BCECE 2017 Counselling, candidates must report to the allotted institutes for admission, fee deposition and document verification.

  • Read all the instructions for filling this application form
  • After that, an Online application form will appear
  • Fill up all the details in the given format
  • Upload the scanned photo and signature etc.
  • After checking the details submit it
  • Pay your application fee in online or offline way
  • After submitting it get a print copy for future uses

BCECE 2017 Application Fees: Rs 660/- (Rs 330/- for SC, ST)

BCECE 2017 Application Fees Payment: 

  1. Application fee for BCECE 2017 can be remitted in cash at any branch of Canara Bank through challan.
  2. Fee can also be paid online through Payment Gateway using Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.

BCECE 2017 Admit Card: BCECE board will release the admit card in online mode for both the stages of the engineering entrance exam. Candidates who will be able to qualify the

Stage 1 of BCECE 2017 exam can only download the admit card of BCECE 2017

Stage 2 Admit Card. BCECE 2017 admit card for Stage I will be available for download from March 21 to April 16, 2017. On the admit card, all personal details and exam related details like exam date, exam time and exam venue will be mentioned. It is must for all the candidates to bring their BCECE 2017 Admit Card with them at the examination hall. If a candidate fails to bring the admit card with him/her, he/she will not be allowed to appear in the exam.

BCECE 2017 Result: It is expected that the result of stage 1 of BCECE 2017 will be declared in the first week of May, 2017 and the same for stage 2 of BCECE is expected to be declared in the first week of June, 2017.
