DNB PDCET 2024 exam date has been released, i.e May 19, 2024. Other dates including application, admit card, result will be released with the official information brochure. DNB PDCET is the abbreviation for the Diplomate of National Board Post Diploma Centralized Entrance Test. DNB PDCET is a ranking examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for admission to various post diploma DNB courses. Candidates who register for the DNB programme after clearing DNB PDCET, are required to complete 2 years of practical training under any NBE accredited institution/hospital/medical college. Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for admission to Post Diploma DNB Courses of 2 years duration is as follows :

Candidates who have passed the final examination leading to the award of Post Graduate Diploma from Indian Universities which are duly recognized as per provisions of the NMC Act 2019 and the repealed Indian Medical Council Act 1956 can apply for the DNBPDCET 2023 in the same Broad specialty through online application system at website https://nbe.edu.in 

The result of the final examination for the said Post Graduate Diploma qualification should have been declared on or before February 28, 2023

He/she must be registered with the Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council

Candidates already pursuing MD/MS/DNB course are not eligible to appear for DNB PDCET 2023

DNB PDCET 2024 Counselling

DNB PDCET counselling is held online. Candidates have to register online to participate in the counselling process. A total of 4 rounds of counselling is held including mop up round. The mop up round is held only if seats remain vacant to be filled up. Candidates who qualify the exam are eligible to participate in the counselling. Candidates have to have declare choices for seats and locking them too. Once locked, candidates can't change the options. Seats allotment result is released for DNB PDCET based on the choice declaration. 

DNB PDCET Admission Process

  • DNB PDCET admission process starts with online registration process. A login ID and password is generated after candidates fill a registration form. 
  • Candidates have to log in to their accounts and fill DNB PDCET application forms. They have to fill the form, upload all the documents, select exam city, and pay the exam fee. Candidates had to register themselves on the official website of NBE to apply for it
  • NBE releases DNB PDCET admit card for those who submitted the application in the given deadline. The admit card is mandatory to appear for the examination. 
  • The result of DNB PDCET will be declared for the candidates who appear for the test. Based on the ranks obtained, merit lists for different specialties are prepared
  • Candidates who qualify for DNB PDCET and fulfill the eligibility criteria for the examination will attend the DNB PDCET counselling

Application procedure

  1. Fill the user registration form to generate User ID/Application ID and Password.
  2.  User ID and Password will be sent through SMS and Email.
  3.  Complete the application form and upload your Photograph, Scanned signature, Thumb impression & Prescribed documents.
  4.  Choose your Test City and pay Examination Fee 
  5. Agree to the declaration and Submit Application
  6.  Take a print out of the filled Application form with Transaction ID printed on it and payment status mentioned as “S” (Successful) for records

DNB PDCET 2024 Result

DNB PDCET 2024 result will be announced online. There is no minimum qualifying criteria for the exam. A separate rank/merit list is released for each speciality. The rank list is prepared based on the marks of the candidate amongst other candidates in that particular broad speciality. Candidates must note NBE will not send the result to individual candidate. He/she will have to download the result PDF from the official website of NBE, nbe.edu.in. DNB PDCET 2024 scorecard can be downloaded by providing login details. 

Admit Card Procedure

  1. Admit cards shall be made live on National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences website https://natboard.edu.in on 18th April 2023. Admit cards will not be issued to candidates found ineligible before the conduct of the examinations.
  2. Candidates will be informed through SMS/Email alerts and website notice regarding availability of the admit card on NBEMS website. Admit card will not be sent to the candidates by Post/Email
  3. Candidates are required to download their admit card from the NBEMS website and affix firmly their recent (not more than 3 months old) passport size photograph in the space provided on the admit card. The photograph must meet following specifications
  4. Size of photograph : Minimum 35x45 mm (and not larger than the box printed on admit card for pasting the photograph) with at least 75% area on the photograph should be occupied with the face & head of the candidate.
  5. It should be a Colour photograph with white background
  6. Checked the details mentioned on admit card
  7. Save and print the admit card
