Bal Bharati Public School joyfully welcomed spring, the season of hope and merriment, not just with colors but with songs, dances and various competitions in the serene ambiance of the school. It was a wonderful juncture filled with laughter, gaiety and fun filled activities. The celebration commenced with Kite Flying Competition on first day. Special kites, shaped like lanterns, lamps, with popular celebrity faces made the festivity quite interesting. The students flew their colorful kites in the beautiful surroundings, running and ducking in an attempt to keep their kites airborne for as long as possible. The competition was adjudged in many categories like Best Kite Flyer, Sky Explorer, Unique Kite, Kite With a Message etc. The winners of the Kite Flying Competition were Shubham, Simardeep, Hardik, Gurjas, Aryan, Jaskirat, Harshit, Alishpreet, Gurliv, Saket and Keshav. On the second day, delightfully decorated campus vibrated with zest and zeal on the beat of dhol. No one could resist to be the part of the wave when Bal Bharatians began their colorful and robust 'Bhangra'. Multihued balloons flying freely in the vast indigo sky marked the inauguration of the Fete. Principal Ms Punam Dogra, warmly welcomed the audience for being a part of the event. The students poured out their creativity and talent at 'Art Competition'. Children from Nursery to Class VIII took part in the competition and gave wings to their imagination by making spring scenes come alive on their sheets. Flowers are the perfect means to express our feelings. The students enthusiastically took part in 'Inter School Flower Arrangement Competition' and their knowledge about the flowers used was incredible. One could not miss out the interesting captions added to their arrangements.
