Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Surankote was established in 1987. It has grown by leaps and bounds in a short span of time & carved a niche for itself in the field if education in the J & K State. The school is situated in the lap of Nature and housed in an infrastructure infested with modern amenities, an ultra advanced computer LAB , smart-room, well ventilated classrooms, small playground, a magnificent library with a stock of 5000 books, well equipped Science LABS and provision for indoor games like Table tennis and Chess etc.
