Kendriya Vidyalaya

Kendriya Vidyalaya Dul Hasti Power Station(NHPC) Kistwar was established on 6th Nov. 1985 in the project premises of Dul Hasti Power Station of NHPC. It is situated at a distance of 3 km. From the main market as well as the Bus stand of Kishtwar. The Vidyalaya caters the educational needs of about 700 children of project employees as well as few children of local residents also. The Vidyalaya is marching ahead to impose the features of KV's under worthy directions of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan a leading Educational set up under Ministry of HRD-Govt. of India. Kendriya Vidyalaya DPS Kishtwar is fully funded by Dulhasti Power Station (NHPC) Kishtwar.
