Kendriya Vidyalaya No 2

The Kendriya Vidyalaya No 2 Srinagar in Air Force Station in Kashmir Valley of Jammu & Kashmir State. The Vidyalay started as a Primary School in 1978. with only 200 students, now embraces one thousand students in its fold.The Vidyalaya prepares its students for services and responsibilities in Nation Building and to foster deep faith in democratic and secular ideals. To excel in academics and sports, manifold indoor and outdoor facilities have been catered for. Our qualified and talented staff is being regularly trained and updated by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Central Board of School Education (C.B.S.E.) and National Center for Education Research & Technology (N.C.E.R.T.) for innovative technique and action research, a small step indeed but a big leap forward to achieve excellence.
