Our Campus While Setting The Parameters For Such Institution It Was Decided To Run Nishaan Academy On Public School Pattern And Make It A Day Boarding School. A Plot Of About Three Acres Of Land Close To Grand Road Connecting Malout And Muktsar At Village Aulakh Was Chosen To Establish The First Branch Of Nishaan Academy. The First Phase Of Building Has Completed Already. Rest Of The Campus Is Intended To Be Constructed With The Aim To Provide Infrastructure Complete With Both Utilitarain Purposes And Serene Atmosphere. Classes From Prep To Class X Are Already Running At The Academy. These Will Be Advanced By One Every Year Till The Senior Most Class Passes Out As Senior Secondary Gradutes. Oh! Be- Gum- Pura The Change In Man Has Come A Long Way Since He Found Words And Language. There Have Been Some Extraordinary Rapid Strides In The Past Hundred Years Or So. However This Change Has Been A Mixed Bag Of Blessings. While Today Man Is More Conscious To Cultivate Reason And Developing Scientific Temper, He Has Also Learnt To Be More Immoral And Accept Immorality As An Established Fact Of Existence. As A Result His Life Has Become Clouded In Material And He Is Very Lonely And Insecure. He Was Never So Far Away From Peace And Tranquility Of Mind In Spite Of All The Means And Resources In His Command Today. The Worst Still Is That He Is Using All These Means And Resources To Exploit His Own Fellow Human Beings. Cramped In The Vice Of Inner Degradation And A Decadent Social Environment, Msn Id Gsving A Total Loss Of His Once Cherished Human Values. It Is More So With The Youth Of Our Times Who Faces The Direct Fallout Of This Enormous Socio-Environmental Catastrophe. The Lands Of Joy Once Are The Theaters Of Ugly Wars Today. It Is In The Light Of These Fears, A Group Of Young Social Workers Of The Area Dreamt Of The Concept Of 'Be-Gum-Pura' Enshrined Gurbani. They Took To A Brain Storming Session To Search A Way Out That Could Drive Young Minds Away From Such Established Negative Notions And Provide For Best Protection For Coming Generations. This Brain Storming Concluded To Establish An Educational Institution For Young People From Very Tender Age. So Concept Of Nishaan Academy Was Conceived To Impart Comprehensive Education Which, While Encourages The Growth Of Reason And Scientific Temper In Child Also Induce In Him Moral Uprightness And Capability Of Leadership, Nourishes His Aesthetic Sensibilities, Brings Out His Spirituality And Generates In Him A Commitment To Honest Productive Work.
