Parala Maharaja Engineering College

Parala Maharaja Engineering College is the first Government engineering college in southern Odisha. This college was named after the King Krushna Chandra Gajapati.the creator of modern Odisha. Parala Maharaja Engineering College came into existence in the year 2009 as a constituent college of Biju Pattnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Odisha. Government of Odisha has recognized this institution as a leading institution of repute and has a plan to develop it as a centre of excellence under plan funding. This college is one of the premier technical institute in the state and is funded by the government of Odisha. Its campus spread over 85 acre of area. The institute is highly reputed for its brilliant young talents. Ltd., Coimbatore. TCS has offered 3.2 LPA package to 3 students through off campus placements and rest of students are in good position. Facilities Auditorium A world class auditoria of 2000 capacity is planned by Government of Odisha, which will be the largest auditorium in South Odisha. Workshop Block The college has a well equipped workshop building with many major types of equipments. Computer Centre Two computer centres with 140 number of systems in each centre with core i5 processor and core 2duo processor having 10 hr back up. Library Covers an area of 4140 square feet with 200 reading seats capacity 8045 no. of books & current journals Subscription to a no. of newspaper and magazines in English & Odiya Hostel Available for both boys and girls students separately with capacity of 200 students each.
