Al-Ameer College of Engineering & Information Technology

Al-Ameer College of Engineering and Information Technology was established in the year 2001 by Mohammad Vaziruddin Educational Society. It is the only Muslim Minority Institution in the North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, set amidst a valley at Gudilova, a place located twenty five kilometers away from the city at a sprawling 40 acre campus on the foreshore of Gambhiram gedda reservoir forms the finest environs conducive to learning. The college offers two undergraduate courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering with an annual intake of 90 students and four courses viz., Computer Science and Information Technology, Biotechnology, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering with an intake of 60 students each. Besides Post Graduate program of MBA and MCA with an intake of 60 each are also being offered. The College fosters to the intellectual development of the student through a committed team of faculty members who are experts in their respected fields, adept in providing the inputs needed by the students in their pursuit of knowledge, thereby guiding them to their successful careers. Theoretical aspects need to be synergized with practice on a sustained basis in order to enhance the practical perspective of the students, for this purpose the college is embellished with a state-of- the- art lab facilities which includes inculcate the technological zeal and acumen relevant in the present engineering scenario. An exquisite collection of books relating to the various disciplines, which includes a large number of national and international journals keep the students abreast with the latest development. This is furthermore enhanced with broadband internet connectivity being offered to the students and faculty members for intellectual enhancement.
