Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), Bhubaneswar was established in 1996. The institute is responsive to the changing demands of the society. ITER has attained the status of a premier institution of engineering and technology in eastern India. National Board of Accreditation (AICTE) has accredited and reaccredited all its eligible programs. ITER has gained respectability in technical education for its innovative curriculum, impressive placement, industries interface and well qualified faculty members. The institute has an enrolment of nearly 5600 students who follow a pre-announced academic calendar. The institute has MOU with IIT Bhubaneswar, IMMT Bhubaneswar, NALCO, CIPET, Infosys, Mindtree, Hexaware, and Wipro to orient the teachers about the needs of the research, development and industrial consultancy.
