Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information And Communication Technology

DHIRUBHAI AMBANI INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (DA-IICT) GANDHINAGAR was established in 2001. It is a technological named after the Gujarati entrepreneur and Reliance group founder Dhirubhai Ambani. An act of the Gujarat Legislature provided for the establishment of the DA-IICT and conferred on it the status of a university. (Gujarat Government Gazette Volume XLIV Thursday 6 March 2003) On 30 November 2004 the DA-IICT as a private university was included in the list of universities maintained by the University Grants Commission under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956. DA-IICT is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as approved by the AIU in its 84th Annual Meeting held during 12-14 November 2009. It is located near Indroda Circle in the famous Gandhinagar Gujarat. It has been recognised by the UGC. It is really a superb achievement for an institute. The DA-IICT is also representing Wave 4 of the innovation regarding the education in Gujarat.
